  1.  28:1  In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward
  2. the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other
  3. Mary to see the sepulchre.
  4.  28:2  And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel
  5. of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the
  6. stone from the door, and sat upon it.
  7.  28:3  His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment
  8. white as snow:
  9.  28:4  And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as
  10. dead [men].
  11.  28:5  And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not
  12. ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
  13.  28:6  He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see
  14. the place where the Lord lay.
  15.  28:7  And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen
  16. from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee;
  17. there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
  18.  28:8  And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear
  19. and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
  20.  28:9  And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus
  21. met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the
  22. feet, and worshipped him.
  23.  28:10  Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my
  24. brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see
  25. me.
  26.  28:11  Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch
  27. came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the
  28. things that were done.
  29.  28:12  And when they were assembled with the elders, and had
  30. taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
  31.  28:13  Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole
  32. him [away] while we slept.
  33.  28:14  And if this come to the governor's ears, we will
  34. persuade him, and secure you.
  35.  28:15  So they took the money, and did as they were taught:
  36. and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this
  37. day.
  38.  28:16  Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into
  39. a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
  40.  28:17  And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some
  41. doubted.
  42.  28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power
  43. is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
  44.  28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
  45. in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
  46. Ghost:
  47.  28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
  48. commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the
  49. end of the world. Amen.
